It's good to meet you! I’m Kiran (Though I go by CK or Rin) Oliver.
I used to volunteer to build amazing structures at museums, design magazines, and talk about making the gaming community a better place. Now, I'm the Podcast Producer at The New Stack, focusing on all aspects of podcast and livestream scheduling, production, content, and coordination across TNS verticals The New Stack Makers, The New Stack Analysts, and The New Stack at Scale.
My 5 year goal list: Write a successful webcomic, publish another book, engineer something to help others with autism, finish a triathalon.
Projects I've worked on have involved partners like MIT, the Gates Foundation, AlterConf, Learning Games Network, and Model View Media.
Get in touch with me using the contact form above. If you're in New Zealand, the first round's on me.

Lawrence Hecht, Director of Content, Strategic Coin: "I've worked with Kiran for a year and a half. Several times we've collaborated to solve complex process-related issues. Of course, because of competing priorities the solutions have not always been implemented immediately. What impresses me is that the problem solving approach has stood the test of time. When the "big change" couldn't be done right away, Kiran would address the "low hanging fruit." Then, I can remember at least three instances that Kiran's proposed solution was executed on when the rest of the organization was able to focus on process improvement."
Laura Ruark, Bospar PR: "It has been a pleasure working with Rin for editorial opportunities with The New Stack. Their content is very thorough, articulate and detailed while knocking the messaging out of the park. I look forward to working with them in the future."
Kris Bondi, VP of Marketing, Iron.io: "I'm consistently impressed with CK's ability to grasp complex concepts and make them understandable. The clarity of their writing is engaging for both technical and non-technical readers."
Steve Naventi, Sr. Technology/Product Marketing Manager, New Relic: "CK is a pleasure to work with, has a deep understanding of the challenges developers face, and the role processes and tools may address this issues. This allows them to tell impactful stories that resonate for developers, cutting straight to what they need to know about a given technology."
Kayla Siefker, Dynatrace, Public Relations: "CK's writing skills are excellent! The way they are able to capture a story and bring it to life in their articles, while maintaining their journalistic integrity and professionalism is truly amazing and shows just how talented, seasoned and creative they are. They're an editor's dream!"
